Quietly confident social/liberal with a wicked sense of humour
I'm not your regular kinda guy. My friends would probably describe me as "alternative" and "quirky" - I just think I know what I like and I'm not ashamed or afraid of that. I'm not opposed to giving my opinion and I'm very independent - I regularly attend gigs/festivals and cinemas on my own. Sometimes it's better this way, and sometimes it's nice to share the experience.
As you can see from my music list, I have quite a distinctive taste - I heavily favour the black/heavy/death metal genre and this plays a big part in my life. I do like other kinds of music too.I'm an avid climber and I'm regularly at the local bouldering wall. I climb at around grade 7a. I am always looking to meet new climbing friends, expert or beginner - I'm a great teacher!
I am also a fan of pretty much every sport. Sport is great - super healthy, fun, and rapport building. I currently play football with some friends once per week and I do a bit of yoga and fitness training at home.I currently work in an independent cinema organisation and I'm planning on going back to school in the summer. I'm going to study science then, hopefully, move on to an environmental engineering degree where I want to pursue my interest in renewable resources and environmental health. We need to save the planet!I'm rather quiet on first impression. This hasn't always worked out well for me, but it's just who I am. Once I am comfortable round someone I'm much more talkative and I have a lot to offer. I'd like to meet someone who can bring that side of me out.My 'perfect match' would be confident and friendly, have a similar taste in music and film, be in to sport (climbing would be perfect), and passionate about their career.
