First dates tend to me similar as in "lets meet for a drink" this is fine in my book. Ideal first dates allow you to chat, get to know one another decide if another date is in the pipeline, and hopefully even if it doesn't lead to the next date you've met someone new. So possibly a bar or a pub, quiet drink, or total opposite would be white water rafting.

Its difficult, there are things you would like but from experience there are things you know you doin't want in a relationship or from a person.
