’m the kind of person that takes time developing an attraction. Sure, physical attraction is important, but ultimately it’s all mental for me. If you can get inside my head & intrigue me, you’re golden. Show me a different world view & challenge my assumptions and you’ll see me again. If you can laugh at the world, including its dark side, we’ll get along famously. Overall, I’m a fairly simple fellow. A cup of coffee can be all I need to make a wonderful day. I don’t believe in the accumulation of things. I’m probably the only guy you’ll ever meet that wants to go bald.

The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai is one of the greatest films of all time. I adore sharp wit & sarcasm. Some of my favorite pastimes are skewering pop culture and people-watching. It’s amazing what you can learn about a person (and often society as a whole) just by sitting still for a few minutes and opening your eyes to the world around you. While I believe in the intrinsic good of people on an individual level, I’m continually amazed at the silliness perpetrated by humanity as a whole. To that end, I consider the Mike Judge film, Idiocracy, excellent social commentary. I think reality television is an example of the beginning of the downfall of civilization. Cadillac Escalades and their ilk are the 21st century version of the Titanic.

i'm looking for someone comfortable enough with themselves that they realize that both of us will have things we do together and things we do on our own. someone that will trust me as i trust them, especially when we're both doing our own thing. i want someone who's secure enough in their own wants to speak up when they want something (and fight for it if necessary) but who's also willing to compromise with my wants and needs if possible. i would do the same for them, so i expect them to return the favor. perhaps more later.
